Nshirim Tasks Information Managers on Govt Policies

DETERMINED to ensure the success of the propagation of Rescue Mission Government Programmes and policies, political appointees in charge of information and communication in the state have resolved to collaborate and work in synergy.

Briefing Newsmen immediately after a closed-door meeting which had in attendance, the General Manager of Imo Newspapers Limited, Sir Jude Nkpado, the Imo state Commissioner for Information, Tourism and Public Utilities, Engr. Obinna Nshirim who is the convener of the meeting, disclosed that part of the resolution of the Rescue mission Media team was to galvanize efforts in their various fields to enlighten the public of the programmes and policies of government.

Nshirim said that their success in making the image of Government would not be in number of enemies created or friends maintained, but rather converting perceived opposition through their behavior, humility, courage and exemplary lifestyle, adding that teamplay remains the key to success.

Imo Broadcasting Cooperation, Mr. Ralp Afoaku, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Public Enlightenment and Orientation, Chief Val Mbamala were present during the meeting.
